The petitioner seeks bail in Kanti Police Station Case No. 500 of 2018, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 399, 402, 413, 414 of the Indian Penal code and under Section 25(1-B)A, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.
It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that though certain articles came to be recovered by the police, nothing at all was recovered from the petitioner's possession. Referring to the first information report, he contends that there is no mention why the petitioner's named cropped-up in the FIR. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the application. He is relying on an order of this Court dated 30.11.2018j passed in Cr. Misc. No. 68481 of 2018 whereby
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.66717 of 2018(2) dt.03-12-2018 2/2 another co-accused, namely, Golu @ Prince Kumar has been granted regular bail.
Considering the aforesaid submission, this application is allowed.
Let the petitioner, Ravi Kumar, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., (West), Muzaffarpur in Kanti Police Station Case No. 500 of 2018.
