Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for offences punishable under sections 341, 323, 307, 379, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution case against the petitioner is that he assaulted the informant with lathi and danda and started pulling him after tying rope in his neck and snatched Rs-1300/- from the pocket of the informant and also snatched his wrist watch. In view of such allegation the prayer for bail of the petitioner is refused with direction to surrender and seek regular bail within six weeks which would be considered on its own merit without prejudice.
