2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 366A of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, this petitioner, along with other accused persons named in the F.I.R., kidnapped minor maternal granddaughter of the informant. It is further alleged that when the informant and others went to the house of this petitioner to enquire about her maternal granddaughter all the accused persons abused and assaulted them.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

No.79488 of 2024(3) dt.03-01-2025 2/2 vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R. and there is specific and direct accusation of kidnapping against this petitioner. It is further submitted that the victim in her statement recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. has supported the prosecution story. The learned trial court has assessed the age of the victim as 13 years.

6. Considering the rival submissions, nature of accusation, statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. and age of the victim, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) shashank/- U T
