The present writ application has been filed for commanding and directing the concerned respondent authorities to make payment of arrears of salary as well as the
Patna High Court CWJC No.1967 of 2023 dt.02-05-2024 2/3 current salary to the petitioner due since the date of her appointment i.e. since 10.05.2018, as the petitioner has been validly appointed on Group-D post.

By the previous order, a co-ordinate Bench of this Court had directed the concerned authorities to make payment of admitted dues of the petitioner but till date no payment has been made.

A counter-affidavit is filed on behalf of the respondent no.8 in which he stated that the District Programme Officer (Establishment) Siwan vide letter no.21.07.2023 sent the certificate of the petitioner to the Chancellor, Sampoornanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Varanasi for the verification that the concerned Headmaster had already deposited the fee of Rs.500/- for said purpose. Due to unviability of verification report, the salary of petitioner was not paid since 2018. 5.
Petitioner undertakes that if her certificate is found to be fabricated, then she is ready to return the payment of said amount.

Accordingly, this writ application is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.8 to pay the current salary as well as arrear of salary to the petitioner within a period of two months.
