JUSTICE SHIVAJI PANDEY ORAL ORDER 01-06-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State through virtual court proceeding. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Tarapur P.S. Case No.98 of 2019 registered for offence punishable under section 394 of the Indian Penal Code. As per FIR, on 07.07.2019 at about 6.00 hours in the evening, the informant was returning with the passenger after completing the daily duty as driver with Tata Magic and in the way, four miscreants intercepted and looted money, license and mobile phone. The informant could identify the present petitioner who was one of the persons who involved in committing the road robbery and later on, police has chased him and recovered the looted amount, including he has confessed his guilt to be involved in the said offence.

Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the present and accordingly his prayer for bail is rejected. However, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after six months. (Shivaji Pandey, J) Mahesh/- U T
