Patna High Court MJC No.3276 of 2023(11) dt.10-10-2025 2/3 along with Mr. Shashi Bhushan Singh, learned counsels appearing on behalf of the petitioner informs that the petitioner will again approach the present Vice-chancellor and the Registrar of the University to place his grievance with more clear picture so that the consideration made by the erstwhile Vice Chancellor and the Registrar, who appear to have no knowledge about arithmetical calculation in the fixation of the pay scale, can be rectified.

3. That being the case, this Court will appropriate the action of the present Vice Chancellor, who is expected not to harass the petitioner in particular and employees in general in any manner for mere fixation of the pay, which according to the petitioner was allowed in Level- 7 and abruptly the same has been reduced to lower level.

4. It is expected that the Vice Chancellor at his own level will ensure to redress the grievance afresh. This Court renders any order, which has been passed without considering the grievance of the petitioner, to be inoperative.

5. In case, the Vice Chancellor wants any help of the Accountant then he can approach the Accountant General (Bihar) so that the Accountant General (Bihar) can provide him an Officer, who can assist him in calculation and determining

Patna High Court MJC No.3276 of 2023(11) dt.10-10-2025 3/3 the exact amount to be paid to the petitioner at the same time must give reasons as to why from Level -7 due to miscalculation, the pay of the petitioner was fixed in lower level.

6. At this stage, Mr. Mrigank Mauli, learned Senior Advocate requests that the petitioner may also co-operate with the Vice Chancellor.
