2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Special Case No.96 of 2022 arising out of Rajiv Nagar P.S. Case No. 246 of 2022, lodged on 25.05.2022 under Sections 8, 20(b), ii, (B), 25, 27(a) and 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act 1985.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 03.05.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 9475 of 2023. Counsel also submits that progress of the trial has been called for vide order dated 12.01.2024 and from the said progress, it transpires that Court is expecting to conclude the trial within nine months.

4. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

5. In the present facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner at this stage.

6. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner in connection with Special Case No.96 of 2022 arising out of Rajiv Nagar P.S. Case No. 246 of 2022, pending before the learned Additional Sessions Judge-VIII-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Patna is hereby rejected. (Dr. Anshuman, J.) Divyansh/- U T
