2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No. 05 of 2024, registered on 02.01.2024, for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 149, 341, 342, 323, 332, 337, 338, 353, 504 & 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution, an FIR has been lodged against six named accused persons, including the present petitioner, and 50 unknown accused persons. The allegation is that accused persons participated in a protest against the new rule related to road accidents, notified by the Central Government, with the assistance of others.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Counsel
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.79783 of 2024(3) dt.09-04-2025 2/2 submits that the protest caused a jam on the GT Road, and the petitioner, being a resident of a nearby village, was merely present to see the protest. However, the police have included his name at the instance of the local chowkidar. Counsel further submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedents.
5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the root cause of this dispute is the protest by the public against a law enacted by the Central Government

In the present facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Trial Court within a period of 4 weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of A.C.J.M.-IInd, Sherghati at Gaya in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No. 05 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. (Dr. Anshuman, J.) Aman Kumar/- U T
