That the present writ application is being filed for direction upon Respondents No. 2 & 3, for conducting an enquiry for the irregularities which has been committed by the permanent standing committee, of the Nagar Parishad, Dumraon by taking a decision on 24.03.2020 for clearance/sanction of Rs. 20 lakhs for doing different works during corona period in absence of,

Patna High Court CWJC No.426 of 2023(2) dt.18-09-2023 2/2 executive officer, who has not attended the meeting of permanent standing committee, which is in gross violation of rules of Bihar Municipal Permanent Standing Committee rules of business 2010 as well as provisions of Bihar Municipal Act, 2007, hence the enquiry is necessary to find out the irregularities and misuse of Rs. 20 lakhs by the members of permanent standing committee of Nagar Parishad, Dumraon."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
