JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 12-04-2023 Heard Mr. Shubh Narain Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner; Mr. Jitendra Kumar Roy, learned SC-13 assisted by Mr. Bijay Bhushan Prasad, learned AC to SC-13 and Mr. Ritesh Kumar, learned counsel for the J.P. University.

2. Petitioner has filed the present writ application for payment of remaining amount of gratuity (Rs.10 lacs), earned leave and Group Insurance with applicable rate of interest.

3. Registrar, Jai Prakash University, Chapra is directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner within a

Patna High Court CWJC No.2 of 2023(2) dt.12-04-2023 2/2 period of three weeks and make payment of all the admitted retiral dues i.e. remaining amount of gratuity (Rs.10 lacs), earned leave and Group Insurance with applicable rate of interest.

4. Registrar must take note of the fact that all the dues which have not been paid to the petitioner are admitted dues and therefore he must not take any technical plea to delay the payment, not beyond a period of four weeks.

5. The petitioner, if so advised, may file a detailed representation within the aforesaid period.

6. Registrar is directed to communicate to the petitioner at his own level that all the due amount payable to the petitioner have been paid in his account.

7. With the above observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
