2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 505 of 2024 arising out of Mehsi P.S. Case No. 17 of 2024, lodged on 29.01.2024, under Sections 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution, F.I.R. has been lodged against five named accused persons including the present petitioner against whom there is specific allegation that he attacked the informant's wife with an axe due to which she died.

4. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Counsel submits that the criminal antecedent of the petitioner is clean and he is in custody since 31.01.2024. Counsel further submits

5. Learned Counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there is specific and direct allegation against the petitioner that he attacked the informant's wife on neck with an axe due to which she died.

6. As such, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
