2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Katihar Rail P.S. Case No. 258 of 2022 registered for the offence under Section 323, 324, 326, 307, 392, 120(B), 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the victim was assaulted with a knife.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case due to local politics and the victim sustained simple injury.

5. It is also submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he

6. Learned APP for the State vehemently opposed the prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail.

7. Considering the aforesaid facts and the period of custody, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court of Railway Judicial Magistrate, Katihar in connection with Katihar Rail P.S.
