The petitioner seeks bail in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 19 of 2018, arising out of Manjhi P.S. Case No. 222 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 379/420 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 27(b)(ii)/28 of Drug and Cosmetic Act, 1940 and Sections 8(c)/22(c) of the N.D.P.S. Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is driver of the vehicle.

It is alleged in the written report that police during course of checking found large quantity of cough syrup loaded on the truck along with articles of reliance company. The driver could not produce any valid paper of the aforesaid cough

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted petitioner was driver of the aforesaid truck. He has no knowledge about the cough syrup loaded along with other articles of reliance company.

Petitioner is in custody since 25.8.2018 having no criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge, Saran at Chapra in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 19 of 2018, arising out of Manjhi P.S. Case No. 222 of 2018, subject to the condition that both the bailers shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
