The present petition has been filed seeking the following relief :- "(i) For issuance of appropriate writ/ writs,

Patna High Court CWJC No.887 of 2023(2) dt.19-09-2023 2/2 order/ orders in the nature of mandamus for directing and commanding the respondents to change alignment (partially) of National Highways Road no. 103 (New National Highways number 322) near Jandaha Bazar Bypass under Jandaha Circle (Paswan Chowk- Musharigharari Section) within the district of Vaishali to save the land of "Kabristhan" having Khata No. 123. Kheshra No.216, area 90 decimal (100m long and 60m depth) situated at Tole Chakdiwan, Thana No.624 which is only Kabristan, used by the nearby Muslim people for more than hundred years for their last rites."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to avail such other alternative remedies, as are otherwise available under the law for redressal of their grievance. Liberty so sought, is granted. 3.
