JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 28-02-2023 By filing this writ application the petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondent authorities to appoint him on the post of Chowkidar against the vacant post of Circle No. 3 under Bahera in the district of Darbhanga.

There is nothing on the record that the post of Chowkidar is being filled up in accordance with the established procedure of law. There is no reason for this court to issue any direction to appoint the petitioner on the post of Chowkidar without following the established procedure of law. The petitioner has no case for issuance of a writ in the nature of a writ of mandamus.

If the respondents are of the view that the post of Chowkidar which is lying vacant is to be filled up, they may
