This is second attempt for grant of bail on behalf of the petitioner. Earlier on 03.05.2018, the prayer for bail of this petitioner was rejected, vide Cr.Misc.No.26629 of 2018. While rejecting the prayer for bail, this Court had observed that the learned court below may take appropriate steps for early disposal of the case.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the order of this Court, no appropriate progress has taken place in this case and till date, not a single witness has been examined. The petitioner is in custody since 15.01.2018 in
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.74649 of 2018(2) dt.09-01-2019 2/2 Thakurganj P.S. Case No. 7 of 2018 registered for the offence under Sections 413/ 414 of the Indian Penal Code. Considering the nature of accusation, period of custody as well as the fact that no appropriate progress has taken place in the case, let the petitioner, namely, Imamuddin be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kishanganj in connection with Thakurganj P.S.
