2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 80(2), 238(b), 61(2) of the B.N.S. and Section 3/4 of D.P.Act.

3 . As per prosecution case, daughter of informant was married with this petitioner Shyam Bihari on 19.05.2021 and some time after the marriage, all the accused persons including this petitioner subjected her (daughter of informant) with cruelty and harassment due to non-fulfillment of additional demand of dowry and lastly, on 19.07.2024, they killed her and concealed the dead-body .

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, while denying the allegation, submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case because petitioner is husband of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.75673 of 2025(5) dt.13-05-2026 2/2 deceased. Allegation is general and omnibus against him. He never committed any torture or harassment with the deceased. As a matter of fact, deceased Khusboo Kumari died due to heart attack and her dead body was cremated in presence of sasural people near Uma Nath Ghar in Barh. Petitioner is in custody since 22.01.2025 . Charge has already been framed on 24.04.2026 .

5 . Learned counsel for the State and informant oppose the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the nature of accusation and period of custody of the petitioner, his prayer for regular bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM, 1st Barh Patna in connection with Barh Police Station Case No. 500 of 2024 .
