JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 18-12-2019 Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Kotwali (Adampur) P. S. Case No. 368 of 2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 468 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per F.I.R. there is allegation against the petitioner that he has taken Rs. 4, 12, 500/- for executing sale deed. Petitioner is a worker of D'PRO Foundation for registration of a land. Now he has neither returned the amount nor executing the sale and when he enquired the same, the informant was assaulted by the petitioner. It further appears that several case of cheating and forgery, which will appear from Para-3 of this petition.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is

No.78444 of 2019(3) dt.18-12-2019 2/2 that he is only a Director and on agreement the signature of other accused persons was there and furthermore, two other cases have been granted bail. He is in custody for seven months. Heard learned A.P.P. also, who has opposed the prayer for bail on the ground that there is clear allegation against the petitioner and he has criminal antecedent also, having similar type of cases against him.

Having heard both sides, in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. However, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial.

With the above observations, this application is dismissed.
