2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Vijayipur P.S. Case No. 24 of 2024, lodged on 11.02.2024, under Sections 304-B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution, F.I.R. has been lodged against five named accused persons including the present petitioner in which informant alleged that marriage of her daughter was solemnized with the petitioner and on the nonfulfillment of dowry, petitioner along with family members used to torture the informant's daughter. Moreover, deceased come to know that the petitioner was having illicit relationship with another girl for which she opposed, but under conspiracy, she was killed.

4. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Counsel further submits that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased and has clean antecedent. Counsel further submits that the trial has commenced but till date none of the witnesses who have appeared have deposed anything against the present petitioner. Counsel also submits that the petitioner is in custody since 01.04.2024
5. Learned Counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the allegation of Section 304B of the IPC is against the petitioner.
6. In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected. However, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial.
