Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.79666 of 2019(3) dt.24-02-2020 2/3 of anticipatory bail apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offence under sections 384, 386, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the allegation in the FIR, Navin Yadav is alleged to have demanded a sum of Rs. 12,000/- per kattha or a total sum of Rs. 5 lacs by way of rangdari for releasing the land of the informant. It is further stated that the 11 petitioners who are also named in the FIR were supporting the said Navin Yadav. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that from the FIR it would transpire that the main allegation is against co-accused Navin Yadav who has been enlarged on bail by order dated 18.2.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. no. 83880 of 2019. It is further submitted that the petitioners and the informant are co-villagers and there is pending land dispute between the parties. Further the petitioners have no criminal antecedent. The application for bail has been opposed by learned APP for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail. The petitioners above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender in the Court below within a period of six weeks from today in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.79666 of 2019(3) dt.24-02-2020 3/3 connection with Khiri More P.S. Case no. 35 of 2019 are directed to be enlarged on bail on each of them furnishing bail bond of Rs 10,000.- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate III, Danapur, Patna subject to the conditions as laid down in section 438 (2) of Criminal Procedure Code.
