Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Basantpur P.S. Case No. 297 of 2022 registered for the offence under section 307 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case due to previous land dispute between the parties. Similarly situated coaccused has been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 24.01.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 73360 of 2022. petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.776 of 2023(2) dt.07-02-2023 2/2 petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing personal bond to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate Siwan in connection with Basantpur P.S. Case No. 297 of 2022 subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
