2. The petitioner in paragraph no. 1 of the present writ petition has sought inter alia the following relief(s), which is reproduced hereinafter:- "i. For issuance of order. direction or writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents to finalize the pay slip of late father of the petitioner which is not available in his service record. The last pay slip of late father of petitioner bearing MS GA-10-MEDO-39/6-2902 dated 05.04.1972 which is available for period up to 01.10.1970 only. A copy of last pay slip dated 05.04.1972 is annexed as ANNEXURE -1 to this application.
Patna High Court CWJC No. 18613 of 2023(5) dt.24-07-2026 2/3 ii. For issuance of order, direction or writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents to make payment of Death-cumRetirement gratuity of the late father of the petitioner to petitioner.
iii. For issuance of order, direction writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to make payment of leave encashment of the late father of petitioner.
iv. For issuance of order, direction or writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents to make payment of Provident Fund amount with statutory interest of the late father of the petitioner.
v. For issuance of order, direction or writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents to make payment of family pension of the late father of petitioner.
vi. For issuance of order, direction of writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents to make payment of the interest of market rate to the petitioner on the aforesaid admissible lawful dues of late father of petitioner to petitioner.
vii. For issuance of an appropriate declaration holding that petitioner is entitled to receive the arrear of unpaid family pension amount and other retire mental benefits of his late father. viii. For issuance of appropriate declaration holding that respondents authority are required to make payment of the aforesaid lawful admitted dues to the petitioner with interest on the delayed payment of earliest.
And for any other relief(s) to which the petitioner may be found entitled in the facts and circumstances of the present case."

Considering the nature of grievance raised in the present writ petition, I find it proper to direct the Director-inChief, Health Services, Bihar, to call for the service particulars of the petitioner's late father, who had served as a Doctor under the Health Department, and after due verification, take a
Patna High Court CWJC No. 18613 of 2023(5) dt.24-07-2026 3/3 conscious decision with regard to the claim of the petitioner and redress his grievance in accordance with law within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
4. Accordingly, the present application stands disposed of.
