There is no assistance from the State in apprising the status of the matter. From the perusal of the records it is evident that Rani Talab P.S. Case No. 117 of 2017 has registered for the offence punishable under Sections 419 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioner has prayed for anticipatory bail. On 18.02.2020, interim order was passed in granting interim protection. Petitioner had benefit of interim protection for the last one and half year. Scope of anticipatory bail is limited to the extent that the interim protection shall be granted or not. Therefore, one must approach before the jurisdiction court for bail.

In the light of aforesaid fact and circumstance, the matter stands disposed of reserving liberty to the petitioner to move for bail before the jurisdiction court. The jurisdiction court is hereby directed to decide the bail of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from

In the meanwhile, no precipitative action shall be taken against the petitioner in connection with Rani Talab P.S. Case No. 117 of 2017, pending in the court of learned J.M. 1st Class, Danapur, Patna.

With the aforesaid observation, petition stands disposed off.
