The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with G.B. Nagar P.S. Case No. 232 of 2017 dated 21.07.2017 for the offences under Sections 363, 366(A) of the Indian Penal Code.
The minor daughter of the informant is said to have been kidnapped by the petitioner, his wife and others and sold off to one Sajan Giri with whom she has been forcibly married. In the statement recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C., the victim girl has stated that she had gone to visit a Mela with the wife of the petitioner and when she met the petitioner, she was offered sweetmeat, after eating which she became unconscious and later
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4208 of 2018 (2) dt.01-02-2018 found herself locked at a place which she did not know. Later, she was made to marry one blind boy. The victim has also alleged that she was being instigated by the petitioner to file a false case against her parents.
Though, the victim has disclosed her age to be 18 years but considering the nature of accusation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner above named.
