2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sikandarpur P.S. Case No. 73 of 2024 dated 17.07.2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) and 21(b)(c) of the N.D.P.S. Act.

3. As per the allegation, the accused/petitioner Salma Khatoon was apprehended with 391 gm smack and as per further allegation, the smack was going to be delivered to the co-accused Sanjay and Parwej Khan.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that petitioner is a lady and she has clean antecedent. He further submits that petitioner is in custody

5. It is also stated in paragraph no. 2 of the petition that petitioner has never moved before this Hon'ble Court for grant of Anticipatory bail or Regular bail.

6. However, Ld. APP for the State vehemently opposes the prayer of the petitioner for bail submitting that the contraband seized from the conscious possession of the petitioner is more than commercial quantity and offence is serious in nature, supported by material on record.

7. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am not persuaded to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

8. Accordingly, the prayer of the petitioner for bail stands rejected.
