2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Siwan Mahila P.S. Case No. 167 of 2014 for the offence registered under Sections 304 (B)/201 of the I.P.C.
3. Allegation against the petitioner is that due to nonfulfillment of demand of dowry, the daughter of the informant has been killed by the petitioner.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the present case only on the basis of suspicion. He has further submitted that the daughter of the informant fled away from her matrimonial house and the informant has filed the compromise petition before the court below stating that he has filed the case
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.82150 of 2023(2) dt.09-01-2024 2/2 on wrong information. Learned counsel for the petitioner has further submitted that during investigation also father of the victim assured the police to produce the victim. Petitioner has surrendered on 03.06.2023 and he is in jail custody since then. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State opposes the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.
6. Considering the submissions on behalf of the parties and the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned concerned court below in Siwan Mahila P.S. Case No. 167 of 2014.
