2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Jagdishpur P.S. Case no. 21 of 2025 registered under sections 103(1), 127(1), 115(2), 118(1), 74, 352, 351(2), 351(3) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have assaulted the husband of the informant with a sharp weapon causing serious injuries on his head.
4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the husband of the informant died in course of treatment. The allegations levelled against the petitioner are false and concocted. No such occurrence as alleged in the FIR has taken place. The petitioner is in custody since 7.2.2025 and chargesheet has been submitted in
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.76028 of 2025(4) dt.11-02-2026 2/2 the case. He has no criminal antecedent.
5. The application for bail is opposed by learned APP for the State.
6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegation against the petitioner of him having assaulted the husband of the informant with a sharp cutting weapon, corresponding injury having been found on the head of the husband of the informant who subsequently died, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application is rejected.
