1. The limited prayer, made by the petitioner, in the present case is to direct the District Magistrate, Nalanda at Biharsharif i.e. the respondent no.5 to dispose off the application filed by the petitioner for extending the validity of his arms license, bearing Arms License No.05 of 2017 (Hilsa Police Station) throughout India, by way of All India Journey License.

2. Per contra, the learned counsel for the respondentState submits that in case the aforesaid application filed by the petitioner is still pending consideration, the same shall be disposed off, within a stipulated time frame, as is fixed by this

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Magistrate, Nalanda at Biharsharif to consider the aforesaid application filed by the petitioner, in case the same has actually been filed and is still pending consideration and pass a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
