2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Rupaspur P.S. Case No. 382 of 2023 registered under Sections 324 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 21.05.2023 by the informant, Md. Safiq.

3. Allegation against the petitioner is that he used sickle to assault the informant, a tanker driver, causing injury on his neck and had to rush the Samay Hospital, Patna. As Specific allegation of using sickle on the neck of the informant is on record. It would be appropriate that he seek bail.

4. Though, learned counsel for the petitioner tried to make out a case that he is suffering from mental illness, the record clearly shows that after the occurrence, the documents
