The petitioners, who are in custody since 15.10.2019 and have clean antecedents, seek bail in connection with Excise Case No. 2088 of 2019 arising out of Ara Nagar P.S. Case No. 508 of 2019 dated 13.10.2019 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2016. From the possession of the petitioner no. 1 twenty five litres of liquor has been recovered. From the possession of petitioner no. 2, twenty one litres of liquor has been recovered.

It has been submitted that they have been made accused because of local village enmity. They are

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72744 of 2019(2) dt.04-12-2019 2/2 stated to be the persons of clean antecedents. Regard being had to the nature of accusation against the petitioners and the period of custody, they are directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned IVth Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Bhojpur, Ara in connection with Excise Case No. 2088 of 2019, arising out of Ara Nagar P.S.
