Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Basopatti P.S.Case No. 38 of 2017, G.R.No. 370 of 2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 384, 353, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is of demanding ransom on phone after entering into the office.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner is an unsound mind person and is suffering from several diseases, as such, such action was not intentional. Heard learned APP also.

Having heard both sides and in the facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14397 of 2018 (2) dt.11-04-2018 2/2 petitioner. However, let petitioner surrender within a period of four weeks from the receipt of this order and pray for regular bail, upon which learned court below will examine the petitioner about his condition and if it is found that petitioner is an unsound mind person he will proceed with the matter in accordance with the provisions made in the Code of Criminal Procedure. With the above observation, this application is disposed of.
