The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Allegation is that 462 liters of liquor was recovered from the house of the petitioner.

Submission is that seizure list is not signed by any of the family members. Allegation is concocted one. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Considering the quantum of recovery and punishment, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected in connection with C-III Case No.247 of 2019 pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge Excise, Siwan.
