The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341/406/420/504/506 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

According to First Information Report, the informant had agreed to marry with petitioner No.1. However, Barat did not come on the scheduled date. The informant got that there is demand of dowry.

Considering the lack of material to prima facie establish the non-bailable offences alleged, let the petitioners,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.77101 of 2019(2) dt.18-01-2020 2/2 above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of the order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with Derni Police Station Case No.149 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure as well as condition that the petitioners shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners. The petitioner shall not leave the country without permission of the trial Court.
