The present petition has been filed for modification of the order dated 24.11.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 33830 of 2022 to the extent of extending the period of surrender.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the bail bonds of the petitioner was to be accepted on showing receipt of deposit of Rs. 5000/- in the account of the informant but since the account of the informant could not be made available by the learned

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18756 of 2023(3) dt.05-07-2023 2/2 counsel appearing on behalf of the informant, hence, the petitioner could deposit the aforesaid amount in the account of the informant and the period of surrender expired.

The learned counsel for the informant is present and he has handed over the account number of the informant to the learned counsel for the petitioner in the court itself.

On the ground mentioned in the modification petition, the same is allowed. The period of surrender is further extended for a period of four weeks from today. The order dated 24.11.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 33830 of 2022 is modified to the extent as indicated above.

Accordingly, the petition stands allowed.
