2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 336, 337, 338, 326, 307, 302, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, altogether 14 persons have been named in the FIR who have assaulted the deceased and others with brick and firearms.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He submits that there is no specific overt act against the petitioner. He submits that there is general and omnibus allegation levelled against the petitioner. He further submits that

5. Learned APP for the State and learned counsel for the informant opposing the prayer for bail submit that the petitioner is also involved in the present case.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected in connection with Chandi P.S. Case No. 73 of 2023.
