The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Roshanganj/Bankey Bazar P.S.Case No.178 of 2018 registered for offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 427, 435, 385, 386, 120B, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
Prosecution case is that two miscreants came on the motorcycle assaulted the informant and the Khalasi and one of them sprinkled petrol and set the J.C.B. on fire. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that except the confessional statement there is nothing against him and on the basis of the confession he has been remanded in three other cases. He is in custody for more than five months.

Having heard both sides and in view of submission made above, as stated above, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned ACJM, Sherghati, Gaya in connection with Roshanganj/Bankey Bazar P.S.Case No.178 of 2018 with further condition that after release the petitioner has to appear before the police station of his local area for a period of six months so that the police may watch his conduct, otherwise his bail bond shall be cancelled.
Let a copy of this order be communicated to the S.S.P., Gaya for the needful.
