The petitioner seeks bail in Jokihat(Mahalgaon) P.S. Case No.228 of 2019 registered under Sections 323, 363, 372, 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

The grandmother of the so called victim alleged that victim was married four years ago but her husband, her father and step mother sold her to a person who runs brothel. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that F.I.R. was lodged after one month of the occurrence. The victim was a major girl and she was living with her husband. She herself fled away. Petitioner being step mother is in custody since 06.06.2019.

Considering the facts aforesaid and nature of allegation made against the petitioner, let the petitioner, above

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.71562 of 2019(4) dt.06-03-2020 2/2 named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria in connection with Jokihat(Mahalgaon) P.S. Case No.228 of 2019.
