JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 31-07-2026 Mr. Anil Kumar Verma, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent/s informs this Court that retiral dues under different heads have substantially been paid to the petitioner. A departmental proceeding is pending against the petitioner and the payment of Gratuity and withholding ten percent pension will be subject to the final outcome of the departmental proceeding.
2. In view of the aforesaid information, I find that the
Patna High Court MJC No.3918 of 2024(5) dt.31-07-2026 2/2 petitioner has every right to challenge the final outcome in the departmental proceeding, which is expected to be concluded within the statutory time, in case he is in any manner, effected by the final order.
3. Accordingly, the present contempt petition is consigned to records.
