2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 296 of 2023, arising out of Bhagwanpur P.S. Case No. 29 of 2020, registered for the offence under Sections 394 of the Indian Penal Code and later on sections 395, 412 of the Indian Penal Code is added.
3. The prosecution case in brief is that on 18.02.2020, three miscreants armed with weapons entered into C.S.P. Office and on the point of arms they took the informant and his staff in their custody and took away Rs. 1,60,000/- from the cash counter and looted bank passbook of the customers. They also took away the informant's mobile and fled away.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.80037 of 2024(2) dt.14-02-2025 2/2 petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R., no incriminating materials has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. No T.I.P. is conducted till date. Petitioner is in custody since 24.03.2023. Petitioner has 11 cases pending against him including present case.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submits that the name of the petitioner has surfaced in this case on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Suman Kumar Bhagat and this petitioner has remanded in this case from Yogapatti P.S. Case No. 60 of 2023 on 24.03.2023.
6. Considering the nature of allegation and criminal antecedents against this petitioner, this application is dismissed. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Ranjeet/- U T
