This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Dawath P.S. Case No. 76 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304(B) and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The allegation is regarding the accused persons having killed the deceased lady on account of non-fulfillment of the demand for dowry.
The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are the mother-in-law and the sister-in-law of the deceased lady and they have no role to play in the present occurrence. Nonetheless, it is submitted that the husband of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8241 of 2018(3) dt.03-04-2018 2/2 deceased lady is already behind bars. It is further submitted that the petitioners are having a clean antecedent. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to enlarge the petitioners above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M, Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with Dawath P.S. Case No. 76 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Mohit Kumar Shah, J) ajay gupta/- U T
