2. Petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 1016/2024 dated 28.09.2024 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

3. The main submissions advanced by learned counsel for the petitioners are that the instant matter relates to the recovery of 100 litre of country-made liquor from the house of both the petitioners but the alleged recovery was not made from the conscious possession of the petitioners, who are female and

It is further submitted that both the petitioners have been languishing in jail since 19.09.2024 and against them, the investigation has been completed.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the bail prayer of the petitioners.

5. Considering the above submissions and mainly the custody period of the petitioners and completion of the investigation against them, this Court is inclined to grant the relief of regular bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, let the petitioners named-above be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the concerned Court in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 1016/2024.
