2. The petitioner is aggrieved by the decision of Aam Sabha/ Selection Committee whereby respondent no. 9 has been selected as Anganbari Sevika of Centre No. 124 at Ward No. 10 within Handia Gram Panchayat of Nardiganj Block in the district of Nawada ignoring her genuine claim.

3. It is the petitioner's case that the said respondent

Patna High Court CWJC No.23069 of 2019(2) dt.14-01-2020 2/2 no. 9 is not a resident of Ward No. 10. Selection of Anganbari Sevika is done under the Guidelines issued by the ICDS Directorate and Welfare Department, Government of Bihar. The said Guidelines prescribe, inter alia, grievance redressal mechanism.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute that the petitioner has remedy of approaching the Child Development Project Officer of the concerned area in accordance with the Guidelines. He has submitted that the petitioner has filed an application in August, 2019 itself before the Child Development Project Officer, which is yet to be decided.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances, this application is disposed of with a direction that let Child Development Project Officer take a final decision on the petitioner's application within one month from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order. The petitioner shall be required to annex a copy of the representation, which she has filed before the Child Development Project Officer, along with a copy of the present order.
