In this case, the petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Digha P.S. Case No. 17 of 2019 registered for offences under sections 498A, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per allegation, the victim has been put to fire and, ultimately, she died.

The petitioner is the husband of the victim.

Looking to the nature of offence as also the entire facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner, above named, is rejected.
