JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 23-06-2020 The petitioner has filed the present writ application seeking direction to the respondents to pay the retiral dues against various heads namely pension, Gratuity, leave encashment, Group Insurance and General Provident Fund amount, which he is entitled to. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the University in which it has been stated that the petitioner's Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity and cash equivalent to unutilized Earned Leave have been paid to the petitioner. The details of the calculation of the petitioner's entitlements have been given in the counter affidavit in detail.

Patna High Court CWJC No.22494 of 2019(5) dt.23-06-2020 2/2 The said affidavit was filed on 17.01.2020 after serving a copy of the same on learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner. It is to be noted that it has been averred in the counter affidavit that arrears of pension has also been paid to the petitioner.

Considering the said counter affidavit, this application is disposed of as it appears that the petitioner's grievance has substantially been redressed.

The petitioner shall, however, be at liberty to raise his grievance before the Registrar of the University, if according to him, the calculation of his entitlements are incorrect and require reconsideration, by filing a representation.
