Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail vide order dated 22.11.2022 in Cr. Misc. No. 60243 of 2022 with a condition that petitioner shall surrender within a period of six weeks from the date of the order.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner realized that he could not surrender within the time fixed as such before expiry of the date of surrender, he filed the present modification application seeking extension of time, it is next submitted that the last date of surrender was 28.12.2022 and the present modification application was filed online on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9113 of 2023(2) dt.15-02-2023 2/2 24.12.2022, it is thus submitted that the time for surrender be extended.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the modification application is allowed.

If the petitioner surrenders on or before 27.02.2023, his bail bonds shall be accepted.
