The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 498A, 306 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the D.P. Act. Informant has alleged that his sister Rohini Kumari Yadav was married with the petitioner on 18.05.2014 and after marriage, she was being tortured for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. Further allegation is that due to said torture, she went to the police station and thereafter a compromise was reached between them that she won't be tortured again. Subsequently victim came to her father's home but the accused persons continued to torture her mentally and emotionally, as a result of which, she committed suicide on 27.02.2019.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.69688 of 2019(3) dt.10-12-2019 2/2 It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and nature of allegation, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner anticipatory bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is hereby rejected.

Petitioner if surrenders and applies for regular Bail, same to be considered on same day without being prejudiced by rejection of Anticipatory Bail.
