JUSTICE SUNIL KUMAR PANWAR ORAL ORDER 15-03-2023 The present petition has been filed for modification of the order dated 20.04.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 56264 of 2021 to the extent of extending the period of surrender.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner could not furnish the bail bonds on time since he was outside the State for his livelihood.

Since, vide order dated 20.04.2022, the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail whereas, the present modification petition seeking extension of time was filed on 25.02.2023, the petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs. 3,000/- before the District Legal Services Authority,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14202 of 2023(2) dt.15-03-2023 2/2 Jamui.

Accordingly, the period of surrender is extended further for a period of four weeks from today. The bail bonds of the petitioner will be accepted by the learned Court below on showing receipt of deposit of Rs. 3,000/- before the D.L.S.A., Jamui.

The order dated 20.04.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 56264 of 2021 stands modified to the extent as indicated above.

Accordingly, the petition stands allowed.
