JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 26-04-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. Despite repeated calls no body appears on behalf of the State. The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Ghoghardiha P.S. Case No.127 of 2017 corresponding to G.R. No.1830 of 2017 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code.

Considering the allegations made in the first information report that the petitioner and others mercilessly assaulted the informant with sharp cutting weapon and iron rod causing corresponding injuries on his person, I am not inclined to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner.

The application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected. In case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same
