2. The petitioner is aggrieved by non-issue of rent receipts in his favour since 2014.

Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the land was settled by the ex-landlord in favour of his father in the year 1952 and since then, after mutation, jamabandi was created and they have been paying rent till 2014. It was submitted that unnecessary controversy was created by the authorities that the original settlement itself in favour of his father was not proper. It was submitted that the controversy reached the appropriate authority and by order dated 27.11.2018, the Joint Director,

Patna High Court CWJC No.23328 of 2019 dt.26-11-2019 2/2 Consolidation (Headquarter), Bihar, Patna, in Revision Case No.81 of 2015 has rejected the claim of the authorities and held in favour of the petitioner. It was submitted that till date he has no knowledge about the authorities moving against the said order, but still his application for issue of rent receipts after taking the amount, has not been acceded to.

4. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has already filed representation before the Circle Officer, Mohaniya, which has still not been acted upon.

5. Learned counsel for the State submitted that the matter be disposed off with direction to the Circle Officer, Mohaniya, to dispose off the representation filed by the petitioner.

6. In view thereof, the writ application stands disposed off with direction to the Circle Officer, Mohaniya (respondent no. 5) to dispose off the representation filed by the petitioner with regard to accepting the rent and issue of up to date rent receipt for the land in question, if already not disposed off, latest within a period of one month from the date of production of a copy of this order.
