The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 687 of 2017 dated 15.10.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 467, 468, 474, 420 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 66(B) (C) of the IT Act. During the holding of an examination by the Central Government agency, it was reported that large scale bungling is being resorted to. One Vikas Kumar was arrested and from whose possession academic certificates of the petitioners were found.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that merely because some of the educational

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.31244 of 2018(3) dt.28-06-2018 2/2 certificates of the petitioners were found in possession of the co-accused Vikas Kumar, that by itself would not make them liable for being prosecuted.

The petitioners have clean antecedents and they are students and are preparing for competitive examination.

Considering the aforesaid facts, the petitioners above named are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad in connection with Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 687 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
